Joshua Eure is a Broadcast and Digital Senior Content Management Professional with 20 years of experience leading news operations. He is an expert in creating original programming and supervising live events.

Currently, a Hyphenate Producer at CBS News in New York, Joshua is responsible for all aspects of weekend content for CBS Newspath including writing, producing, editing and development of breaking news packages.  

Joshua honed his news content chops in local newsrooms for nearly 15 years. He served as an Executive Producer at WWOR-TV in New York, WSB-TV in Atlanta, and WFOR-TV in Miami. Joshua worked his way up to those positions as a line producer in Philadelphia (WCAU-TV), Greensboro (WFMY-TV), and his hometown of Baltimore at WBFF-TV, WJZ-TV and WBAL-TV.

Joshua was the Assistant News Director and Senior Content Manager at KPNX-TV/Republic Media coordinating 300 staffers who delivered breaking news and information to nearly 2 million Arizonans on multiple platforms including TV, digital and newspaper.  In this role, Joshua was responsible for 52 hours per week of original programming and maintained profit and loss for $6 million dollar newsroom budget.  He guided content and show production to dominate daily Nielsen ratings year-over-year and grew broadcast ratings and digital views year-over-year for #1 TV station in the Phoenix market.  Joshua was also the newsroom liaison for conflict resolution with federal, state and local agencies.

Before joining KPNX-TV, Joshua Eure worked at ABC News in New York for nearly 5 years in a variety of roles including Senior Broadcast Producer at ABC News Now and Coordinating Producer for World News Now andGood Morning America. In these positions, Joshua’s role provided the “glue” between network newsgathering for on-air programs and the digital products of He also served as the Executive Producer for the ABC News/Facebook 7 hour live town hall (digital).

Joshua earned his degree in Journalism from the School of Global Journalism and Communication at Morgan State University in Baltimore. He is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

Joshua is also a frequent speaker at Youth coaching and leadership events and a 2013 Fellow for the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs, CO.
